What is the True Religion?
(excerpted from the book, "The Universal
Light")
According to Vedantic Hindu Swami Vivekananda, there should
be as many religions as there are people. Taking a contrary but not necessarily
contradictory view, Baha’u’llah of the Bahai faith asserts the unitarian
position that all religions are essentially one.
It is our belief that the true religion is the one that God
has written in our hearts and which unites us as members of God’s family. It
is evolving as we grow as individuals and as a world society. Statements like,
"We take care of own," can no longer mean anything short of "We
care for the whole human family."
